Chapter 6 – Start Me Up

Corinne felt Nick’s hot breath on her neck as he nibbled on her ear and kissed her all over.  Her body was alive and she wanted him desperately.

Nick pulled her cover-up off and untied the tie from her bikini top. “Oh, I love your breasts…” He moaned, luxuriating in their sweetness; kissing them and sucking her hard peaks.  Corinne ran her fingers through his hair and enjoyed the intense sensation of desire radiating from her nipples.  She felt Nick grabbing her bottoms, pulling them off and flinging them on the floor.  Corinne knew they were soaking wet because she was.  Nick plunged his fingers into her wetness, finger-fucking her slowly, bringing moans low in her throat to the surface and making Corinne arch her back to meet each of his thrusts.  Just before she was about to come, he moved his head down to her pussy and licked her engorged clit which brought her to a swift climax.  Nick lapped up her cum, loving the taste of her, as well as his part in giving her pleasure.

Corinne reached down quickly to pull Nick’s shorts and underwear off, her hand grasping his large, pulsating organ and stroking it.  Nick was clearly in heaven because his head shot back and groans of pleasure were escaping his lips.  Now her lips bent to envelope his dense maleness, sucking and licking and deep-throating him to the point where Nick had to say,

“Baby, you better stop.  That feels so fucking good and I want to cum inside of you!” He then pulled her up so he could kiss her again and feel the length of her perfect body against his.  They kissed and pressed their hard, wet and sexually energized bodies against one another; delighting in the touch of being skin to skin.  Then Corinne smiled up at him and said, “Oh, Nicky I want you so bad…”

Nick kissed her and said, “I love when you call me Nicky and I want you, too… oh, God, do I want you!” He kissed her again, plunging his tongue inside her depths.

Nick was happy when Corinne raised herself into the same position she was in last night before the dreaded phone call.  This time she quickly impaled herself onto Nick’s hardened member and they both cried out in pleasure, finding their perfect rhythm together and riding the biggest wave of passion and pleasure of their lives.  Every sexual sensor in their bodies was ultra sensitive, causing them immense pleasure and affection for one another.  Corinne rode Nick’s strong, large cock with abandon, knowing she would cum again at any second.

Suddenly, Nick grabbed her arms and rolled her onto her back where he thrusted into her a couple of times which sent Corinne over the edge,  Nicky! Come with me!”  That was enough for Nick to collide with his ultimate climatic destiny as he and Corinne in synchronicity with the boat and the waves, climaxed, shuddering, holding onto one another and crying out as their intense orgasms gripped their bodies.  Corinne could feel Nick’s fluid invading her pussy and mix with her own cum and oh, what a sweet feeling of riding that wave together and coming down together and sharing the bond of oneness.

“Can you say OH MY GOD?!” Corinne said as they collapsed on the bed.

Nick laughed, out of breath, “Ditto!”

Nick and Corinne both giggled and lay in each other’s arms, just enjoying the feeling of the rocking boat and the sound of the water lapping against the wood.  And then they heard the sound of distant voices, talking and laughing.  Voices? They suddenly both realized where they were.  Getting caught up in their intense need for one another, they had momentarily forgotten.

“Oh, shit, do you think they all heard us?” Corinne clapped her hand over her mouth in embarrassment.

Nick just laughed.  “Who the hell cares? It was so worth it, Baby.” He kissed her temple and lay back down to regain his strength.

Corinne smiled.  “Yeah, it was, but you don’t fool me.  You can get embarrassed just like I do.”

Nick turned his head on the pillow to look at her.

“Yeah, I’m talking about you, Mr. Nick Carter, big-time celebrity.  I’ve seen you get embarrassed.  So, you don’t have to be so cavalier with me.”  She was still smiling at him.

Honestly, Nick didn’t know how to respond to that.  So she knew he was vulnerable? Wasn’t everyone?

“Hey, I forgot to ask you… are you on some kind of birth control?” Nick suddenly remembered.  Oh, shit, he forgot to use the condoms he had brought.  She just blindsided him with her fabulous body and well, just being here.  He had the inability to think straight around her.  She had this strange and wonderful affect on him...

Corinne laughed.  “It’s good thing, huh? Don’t worry.  You see this?” She pointed to the area just below her stomach.  “This little patch here keeps life simple.”  Nick looked down.

They both thought, well, that protected them from pregnancy, but what about other things, like STDs, but that would be another conversation for another time and place.  Right now they just wanted to lie there and enjoy their moment.

“So, do you think we should go back upstairs?” Corinne asked, unsure.  She would love to just stay here with Nick all night.

“Fuck that.  I don’t know about you, but I just want to stay here with you.”

“So we can make a story of our own?” She giggled, using his own song lyrics against him.

Nick smiled.  “No, I didn’t say I wanted to take you home.”  Touche.

“That song always cracked me up.  You’re so transparent, Carter.”

“Aren’t all guys? At least when it comes to that?”

“You mean sex? Yeah, I guess so, at least most of them.”

“Well, I’m sure you’ve had your share of guys wanting to have sex with you.  I mean, Corinne, come on, you’re beautiful…”  The words just slipped out his mouth somehow.

Her eyes lit up.  “Thank you, Nick, that means a lot.”  Corinne felt tears suddenly well up behind her eyes.  Man, she was still drunk.  What a sap!

“Oh, I didn’t mean to make you cry.” Without thinking, Nick bent to kiss away her tears.  The gesture was not lost on Corinne and she moved her lips to meet his.

“Nick… thank you.  I’m okay.  Hey, you never did answer me this morning.  What conclusion did you come to about us?”

Nick looked her.  Would his answer have been different this morning than now? He knew it wouldn’t be.  He was crazy about her; he guessed he always had been.

“I… I think it might be too soon to be talking about this, Corinne.”  His voice cracked with emotion and she was touched, but he was probably right.  Why did she keep asking when she knew things were unresolved between her and Kevin? She still loved Kevin, didn’t she? She didn’t know at this very moment.  And looking at this beautiful man lying next to her who just made the sweetest, most passionate love to her and had been nothing but kind to her, it looked more like the kind of love she had been seeking all along… but it was too soon…

Nick studied Corinne for her reaction.  He saw a barrage of emotions cross her face and he wondered what she was thinking in that exquisite head of hers.  He would love to tell her that he was possibly falling in love with her, but she had just broken up with Kevin.  It didn’t seem right somehow.  She was in a fragile, delicate and emotional state that he didn’t want to take advantage of.  He wanted this to be done right so it would be forever if it were meant to be… He had rushed things before in other relationships and it had cost him.  He didn’t want to lose Corinne, that is, if he really had her…

“What are you thinking?” He finally asked.

Corinne sighed.  “I’m thinking you might be right.  We can talk about it another time.  I’m just enjoying being with you right now.”  She smiled and snuggled into the crook of his arm.  And minutes later they were asleep in each other’s arms.

Kevin was in a state of flux at the moment.  His girlfriend or was it ex-girlfriend? was avoiding him and he wasn’t sure why, although a million different scenarios were running through his head.  Had she listened to the message and was so scared off by what he said that she couldn’t face him? What if she hadn’t listened to it and was waiting to listen to it later? No, that can’t be it.  He knew she was checking out that morning.  What if it got deleted? What if she didn’t want to listen it? What if she was pissed at him and refused to have anything to do with him? What if you still loved him but needed some time to sort things out? Damn! This was so frustrating! She knew he was going to call her, there was no mistaking that.  Why would she turn off her cell phone and not answer her home phone, knowing he would be leaving messages and wondering where she was? And then the worst scenario of all passed through his mind, what if she were with Nick?

Kevin took a sip of his coffee and then stared at his coffee cup.  Starbucks.  That’s where he and Corinne had met a little over six months ago.  It was the day after Thanksgiving and the whole world was out shopping.  Kevin had dreaded it but he drove to the Glendale Galleria to find the perfect gift for his mom who was flying in from Kentucky the next day.  He liked the Galleria because compared to the malls in LA, it was nicer and less crowded, if you can call thousands of people and no parking spaces less people, he thought grimly.  It took him 20 minutes of driving around to finally snag a space.  Thank God, he thought.  Just get in and get out, Kevin he told himself.  Upon entering the mall, he spotted the Starbucks sign and made a beeline for the popular drinking spot.  Of course, there were already 10 people in line, so again, he would have to wait.  God, I hate crowds, he thought.  After a few minutes of waiting, he finally arrived in front of the cashier and placed his order.  He then walked over towards the counter to wait for his drink and there she was! A vision in black; she wore a black cashmere sweater, a long black skirt and long black boots.  Her deep blue eyes beneath long eyelashes smiled at him demurely and he admired her naturally beautiful face. Of course, he had taken in the voluptuousness of her curves, but her dynamic smile made his heart lurch.  Suddenly Kevin knew he was feeling more than lust for this lovely creature; he had to meet her and more than that, date her.

“You’re Kevin Richardson aren’t you?” The enchantress asked him.  What a sweet voice, he thought.

Kevin smiled at her.  “Yes, I am.”

Corinne giggled.  “I’m a big fan of the Backstreet Boys.  I’m probably one of your older fans, but still a fan nonetheless.”

“Well, thank you.  We have fans of all ages.”

“I'm Corinne.” She held out her hand and he gladly shook it.

Corinne.  What a beautiful name…

“Venti Americano!” The clerk at the counter yelled out.

“Oh! That’s not mine. Is it yours?” Corinne said.

“Weird they made mine before yours.” He said, grabbing his drink.

"Ah, yes.  Preferential treatment I see!" She laughed and Kevin joined in.

“Tall Non-fat Vanilla Latte!”

“OK, that's mine.” She smiled.

They got their coffees and looked at each other.

“Corinne, I know we just met, but do you want to sit down somewhere and talk?” Kevin said, hoping she would agree.

Corinne nodded.  “Sure.”

They spent the next hour talking non-stop sharing about their lives, their outlook on life and just laughing about anything and everything.  They had an easy way about one another and fell into an instant rapport that began as a friendship quickly turning into something else.

Corinne actually ended up helping Kevin find a gift for his mom; a beautiful deep chocolate brown lambswool sweater and Kevin helped Corinne find a gift for her sister, Megan who had just recently become pregnant.  It was actually a huge teddy bear.  Corinne had explained that ever since they were kids Megan had collected teddy bears and she wanted to pass her collection onto her baby son or daughter-to-be.  Kevin had fun carrying the huge animal around as they walked through the mall.

“You look ridiculous!” Corinne laughed.

“Well, thank you - I try!” Kevin had the bear hoisted onto his shoulders and people were pointing and snickering as they walked by.

“Nothing like calling attention to myself.  I was going to try to avoid any possible autograph-seekers today, but I’m in such a good mood now, I don’t care.” Kevin laughed.  He was so comfortable around her that it made it so easy to share his thoughts.

Corinne smiled.  “Well, that's a good thing because it looks like you’re about to get attacked. Prepare for battle!” She teased him as a group of giggling girls headed their way.

Several minutes later, they were making their way towards the parking lot.

“Corinne, I had an awesome time today.  Much better than I had expected.  Shopping is not my thing and definitely not on a day like this. You made it so much more enjoyable.  Thank you.”

“Kevin, I feel the same way.  I was dreading it, too.  You really are a great guy and I had a lot of fun.”  Her blue eyes smiled at him and all he wanted to do was kiss those luscious lips.

“I feel like I can be so honest with you and honestly, Corinne, I would love to kiss you right now.”

Corinne took the initiative and reached up to kiss him.  Kevin was pleasantly surprised and he kissed her back.  Oh, her sweet lips…

“Wow!” They both laughed.

“Can I see you again?” Kevin asked.

Corinne nodded.  “I would like that.”  She fumbled through her purse, came up with a business card, scribbled her cell phone number on the back and presented it him.

GarnerWhitman Publishers

Corinne Whitman, Editorial Assistant

900 Blake Avenue

Los Angeles, California  90031

(213) 555-1456

“I only work there four days a week as an Editorial Assistant.  The rest of the time I work at home as a writer.  A book of mine has been published by GarnerWhitman, but mostly I write short stories for magazines.”

“Wow.  Impressive.  Whitman? Any relation?”

Corinne nodded.  “Yes.  My dad, Peter Whitman started the company with his friend and partner, Zach Garner 20 years ago.  He started it in New York and the headquarters are there, but when he and my mom moved here, he opened the LA branch about 10 years ago.”

“Cool.  So, how many books have you written?”

“Just the one so far.  I’m thinking about writing another one.  I’m always a work in progress…”

“Oh, so can I read this book?”

“Yeah, I guess so.” She laughed.  “You can probably buy it at most bookstores.  It’s called False Bravado.  Be warned, it’s a romantic novel, not be confused with a romance novel, but still, I don’t know if a lot men have read it!” She giggled.

“I’d love to read it.  How long ago did you get it published?”

“A couple of years ago.  It did fairly well actually.”

“That’s great. I’ll be checking that out.  So, where’s your car?”

Kevin helped her put the stuffed bear in the trunk and promised to call her soon.  He did.  The very next day in fact.  It was the beginning of their whirlwind romance that spawned many happy and not so happy moments, but ones that Kevin would not trade for the world.
