Chapter 6 – I Just Want You To Know

"Lookin' at your picture from when we first met

You gave me a smile that I could never forget

And nothing I could do could protect me from you that night"

Nick and Olivia entered the car cautiously, but found a cheerful, easy-going Kevin and their minds were put at ease.  Kevin had decided to let the situation in the house go (for now) and try to enjoy himself today because he planned to take Olivia home and ravish her tonight.

The threesome went back to the Pier and headed for the arcade gallery.  They played a few games, but it turned into a competition when the two guys decided they both wanted to win stuffed animals for Olivia.  Since both of them were competitive, a contest ensued which to Kevin’s dismay declared Nick the winner.  Olivia reluctantly took the stuffed dog from Nick, sensing Kevin’s disappointment.  Nick’s victory was short-lived, however, when he realized he had just affected his friend’s mood.  Something about Olivia affected him like no other.  This was not like him to do these kinds of things.  Nick decided to let his pride and desire go by the wayside and let Olivia and Kevin enjoy each other.

They went on the tilt-a-wheel, the carousel (boring, the guys thought) at Olivia’s urging and grabbed some lunch at one of the hot dog stands.  They were frequently interrupted by autograph-seekers and the guys were nice enough to stop and sign whatever it was the fan wanted signed.  Some fans requested pictures so Nick and Kevin graciously posed for the cameras.  One fan even wanted Olivia in the picture with Kevin and Nick to her surprise, so she smiled along with them as the camera clicked their picture.  All of the attention made Olivia feel a little uncomfortable since she was a “nobody” in one sense, but in another sense, she felt proud to be with them and thought it was really cool they took the time for their fans.

After lunch, they walked around for awhile and walked by the vendors to see what might catch their eye.  While Kevin and Olivia looked at the jewelry, Nick spotted a booth with a bunch of costumes and hats and such.

“Hey, guys, come look at these!” Nick looked goofy wearing a cowboy hat and a pair of Elton John like glasses.  Kevin and Olivia laughed.  “Hey, that hat reminds me of one of AJ’s!” Kevin said, but Nick was already grabbing another hat – this time a felt one with a feather in it, which looked very Robin Hood-esque.  “En garde!” He said, grabbing a fake sword and pretending to joust.  Kevin and Olivia laughed.  Then Nick spotted some wigs  and grabbed a long red-haired one.  “Now, this reminds me of the time me, Brent and some of my other friends went to the mall and put some wigs on and walked around.  Everyone was laughing at us.”  He put that one down and grabbed a long blonde one.

He put that one on and said, "And this one reminds me of our I Just Want You To Know video.  Man, that was a blast to film!"

“Yeah, you do look a lot like the lead singer of Sphynkter!” Kevin laughed.  “God, you’re right, that was a blast to make.”

"Oh, I love that song! I can't wait to see the video!" Olivia said.

"It's very funny.  You'll have to see how goofy Nick looks in it, as the dorky fan anyway."  Kevin laughed.

"Hey, you looked just as stupid!" Nick protested.  "But AJ was priceless in that yellow leopard jumpsuit." He giggled.

"Yeah and Brian in that leather vest with the sides cut out of it." Kevin laughed.  "Hell, we are looked like freaks.  You were wearing that weird studded bikini and black tights."

Hmm, sounds sexy, Olivia thought.

“Okay, well, I’m going to buy this one just because I feel like Zorro.”  Nick was holding a black eye masque very similar to the one Zorro probably wore in the movie.

After making his purchase, the three of them started walking down the Pier again.

“You’re not going to put that on now are you?” Kevin asked.

“Yeah, why not? I like being incognito every once in awhile.” Nick said as he put the masque on.

“You’re embarrassing us, dude!” Kevin said, but Nick wouldn’t take the masque off, so they decided to give it up and move on.

They decided to ride a roller coaster and waited in the long line.  Just as their turn arrived and Kevin and Olivia were about to get into their car, a young girl tapped Kevin on the shoulder.  “Aren’t you Kevin Richardson from The Backstreet Boys? Can I get your autograph?” and she and her friend let out a scream.  Kevin hesitated for a moment, but remembered how good their fans were to them and told Olivia and Nick to take the seat since the ride operator was impatiently waiting for them.

“Are you sure?” Olivia asked, unsure.

“Yeah, I’m fine.  I’ll meet you guys at the exit.” He told her.  “Nick, man, I could kill you!”  Kevin whispered in Nick’s ear and Nick let out a loud laugh.  “And you laughed at my disguise!” Nick whispered back and then got in the car with Olivia.  However, he did manage to take the masque off as they were ascending the steep hill and stuff it into his jeans pocket.  Nick was secretly happy he had worn his stupid disguise now because no one had recognized him and he was here alone next to Olivia.

Olivia turned to Nick.  “Okay, I guess we’re going up!” And seconds later they were screaming as the car took them pummeling down the tracks and to the next turn.  Olivia found herself grabbing Nick’s arm in fright (she actually hated roller coasters) and he secretly loved the feel of her hand on his and her body so close to his once again.  The ride was over in a few minutes, much too soon for Nick.  He sighed.  Time to relinquish her back to Kevin again.  As their entered the station again for them to exit, Olivia took her arm away and just smiled at Nick weakly, feeling a little embarrassed about her frightened state.

“Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone you grabbed my arm because you were scared to death!” Nick couldn’t help getting her back for her previous barb at Kevin’s house.

Olivia’s mouth opened wide in shock, trying to think of a quick comeback.  Just then they were jerked forward in an abrupt stop.  It was time to exit the car.

Due to the motion of the ride, Olivia’s purse had slid over to Nick’s side of the car by his feet, which neither of them had noticed.  As Nick unbuckled his seatbelt and went to exit the car, he wasn’t looking at his feet and he tripped on Olivia’s purse during his exit, which caused him to sprawl on the cement floor on his side.  Fortunately, he wasn’t hurt, just stunned as he lay there for a moment, trying to figure out what had happened.  Olivia saw the whole thing and was horrified.  She grabbed her purse, jumped out of the car and knelt down next to Nick to see if he was okay.

“Oh my God, Nick! I am so sorry you tripped on my purse! Are you OK?” Nick was still lying there stunned, but as he looked up at Olivia’s angelic face, his senses left him and he grabbed the back of her neck and kissed her.  Olivia was stunned for a minute, but once she realized what was happening, she was enjoying it so much that she couldn’t stop it even if she wanted to – her body took on a mind of its own.  She let Nick continue to kiss her, his tongue darting into her open mouth, to find her just as eager tongue meeting his.  It was a moment of pure bliss for both of them, but unfortunately short-lived.

Kevin had been waiting for Olivia and Nick at the exit for which seemed like forever.  What was taking them so long? He thought impatiently.  After signing some autographs, he had stealthily made his way to the ride exit to wait for his friend and hopefully soon-to-be girlfriend.  And then he saw a crowd gathering just a few feet away and he decided to investigate the cause of  it.  What met his eyes was unexpected and shocking.

He saw Nick and Olivia sitting on the cement ground, kissing, totally oblivious to the world around them while people stared, murmured and whispered.  Just then a camera flash went off which broke the spell Nick and Olivia were under and they pulled apart.  Olivia’s eyes suddenly met Kevin’s who was standing just a few feet away and she jumped to her feet.

Kevin was so out of there! He wasn’t going to wait for them.  It was so totally, fucking over! He wasn’t going to wait for explanations or anything.  Kevin started walking fast and furious towards the exit, fuming with anger.  He was taking off – the lovebirds could call a cab.  He didn’t care what they did, he just had to get out of here – fast!

“Oh, God, Nick! I’ve got to go find him!” Olivia yelled as she got up and ran after Kevin, frantically looking for him in the crowd.  She had to find him or this was definitely the end for them.  Her actions confirmed to her that she really wanted to be with Kevin – that Nick was not the one.

After a few frantic minutes of searching, Olivia finally spotted Kevin standing by one of the photo booths, talking on his cell phone.  ‘Thank God!’ she thought, relieved.  As she got closer, she heard him yelling into the phone and she deduced from Kevin’s end of the conversation that it was probably his agent who had the misfortune of calling Kevin at the wrong moment.   As Olivia approached, Kevin looked up at her, said into the phone, “I’ve gotta go!” and flipped the phone closed angrily.

“Oh, no! Don’t even say a word! I don’t want to hear it! I hope you and Nick will be very happy together.” He said and turned to walk away.

“Kevin, wait! Please! Just wait for one second! I have to talk to you! Please!” Olivia pleaded.  Something in Olivia’s voice made Kevin stop and turn to look at her.  Her beautiful green eyes were floating in a pool of tears and it melted his heart.

She tried to approach him to put her arms around him, but he took a step back.  “I really want you, Kevin, not Nick.  That just happened, but it won’t happen again, I promise!” She sincerely wanted his forgiveness.

“Why should I believe you?” He said.

“Because I can prove to you I am sincere.”

“How?”

Olivia hesitated for a minute and then looked at the photo booth and said, “Come in here.”

Kevin followed her into the photo booth.  Closing the curtain and praying that no one would come in, Olivia became brave and lifted up her dress to reveal a pair of skimpy panties which she pulled down and let slide to the floor in a small heap.  Kevin’s eyes were popping out and he waited for her next move.  Olivia kissed Kevin passionately on the mouth and as she was doing so, she unsnapped and unzipped his shorts and pulled them and his underwear down and off in one swift movement.  Eager to prove her feelings and appease her rising desire for him, she pushed him down onto the bench in the booth and straddled him, impaling herself on his erect dick and riding him expertly.  Kevin moaned and his hands grasped her hips so he could grind deeper into her wet, open, but tight crevasse of hot desire.  As much as they wanted to scream with passion, they were aware of their surroundings and had to attempt to muffle their moans as best as possible.

Olivia rode Kevin’s cock proudly, ready to come all over it – so wanting to scream when her impending orgasm carried her over the brink.  Kevin, sensing her excitement, covered her mouth with his, his tongue exploring the wet depths of her mouth.  As Olivia’s orgasm overtook her, she whimpered into Kevin’s mouth as it racked her body with intense pleasure.  Kevin followed right behind, his cock exploding into Olivia’s wetness, wanting to cry out himself, but covering his mouth on her shoulder, making low moaning sounds and holding onto her for dear life as he rode the wonderful waves of his huge orgasm and spewed his semen inside of her.

The entire sexual encounter was only a few minutes long, but the best minutes either of them had ever experienced.  It brought them closer together.  “We should have done this last night.”  Kevin whispered and Olivia nodded, “Yes, we should have!” and they both laughed, relieved to have alleviated the tension between them.  As they sat there for a minute, looking into each other’s eyes and catching their breath, they heard two people talking and approaching the booth.  Reality hit them and they hurriedly reached for their clothes and put them on.

Just as Olivia and Kevin exited the booth, faces flushed with passion, two teenaged girls were about to step into the booth and the four of them almost collided

“Oh!” they jumped back in surprise, wondering at the state of the couple that were exiting.

“I think they just had sex!” One of the girls said to the other as Kevin and Olivia laughed and ran off, holding hands, lost in their own world and completely forgetting about Nick Carter for the moment.

Meanwhile Nick was attempting to exit the roller coaster area without the crowd following him, so he signed some autographs and took off as soon as he could.  He figured he was on his own after the “incident” with Olivia, so he walked around for awhile on the Pier and then ended up on the beach.  He sat on the sand holding the stuffed dog Olivia had left in her haste to chase after Kevin, watching the waves, realizing that he probably had lost for good this time and it was time to move on with his life.

A half hour later, sighing, he got up, walked towards the parking lot, opened up his cell phone to call a cab home.
