"Running from all the situations
To lift me up, let you in my life, yeah
Don’t wanna live inside without your love
Cuz no one else can make me feel this way
To love me, is gonna take a lot
I can’t wait til the end of forever
Lead me, ain’t never gonna stop
Could it be tonight, or til the end of forever, oh yeah”
“What you are doing kissing my girlfriend?!” Kevin asked, angrily.
“Uh, I’m sorry, I was just saying goodnight, that’s all.” Joshua said, uneasily. “You must be Kevin. Nice to meet you. Goodnight, Olivia.” Joshua tried to walk away, but Kevin stood in his way, blocking his exit. Kevin looked so angry Olivia was afraid he was going to hit Joshua.
“Yeah, goodnight. I hope we don’t see you around.” Kevin said, stepped aside and Joshua walked down the hall and got in the elevator.
“Kevin!” Olivia gasped, but she barely got the words out before Kevin’s mouth was on hers, hungrily kissing her, pulling her close and running his hands down her arms and back sending chills through her body.
They pulled away, breathless. “Oh my God, Kevin!” Olivia said, flushed all over.
Kevin chuckled. “Here, let’s go inside.” He took the key card from her and opened the door. Just inside the door, his lips were on hers again, his tongue darting in her parted mouth to meet hers, his hands brushing her nipples causing an instant reaction of desire from her.
“Wait, wait!” Olivia pulled away. “God, you still turn me on,” Kevin smiled at her and moved toward her again, but she put her hand up. “I have to know what’s going on in your mind…”
“No, you don’t. There will be time for that later. Right now I want to… ‘fuck your brains out’ as you so elegantly put it once.” Kevin grabbed her and untied the knot from her halter-top and pulled it down to reveal her full breasts and taut nipples. “Beautiful…” he whispered and took each ripe nipple in his mouth, tasting it, savoring its sweetness. Olivia arched her back and let out a moan of delight. “These have gotten bigger… I love it…” Kevin said and massaged them with his hands and fingers.
“Oh, baby…” Olivia moaned. He knew how to excite her; he always had.
Kevin was pulling her top off and tossing it aside. Then Olivia pulled his t-shirt off and moved her palms over his muscled chest; her fingers running through the hair, tracing the outline of his nipples. Kevin emit a low sound from his throat and pulled her to him, loving the feel of her bare breasts on his bare chest. He kissed her longingly on the lips, then moved to her neck and blew sweet kisses into her ear. Weak with desire, Olivia almost crumpled to the floor.
Kevin picked her up and laid her on the bed, still kissing her and moving his hands all over her body. Shedding the rest of their clothes quickly, they ached to be inside one another, uniting once again in the love and passion they had always shared. Seeing Kevin’s erection looming above her, she moved to touch him, but he stopped her.
“No, you better not— I won’t last long. I want you so bad, baby.”
Kevin thrust his long, hard member into his wet and welcoming vagina, moaning at the feel of our tight walls closing around his penis, hugging it in a vice-like grip.
“Oh, God, you better hurry.” He moaned, recognizing his need for instant release. She felt so good and it had been so long…
“Oh, God!” Olivia moaned as her orgasm gripped her and took her on the ride of her life; her pussy gripping his penis in sweet spasms. At the same time Kevin couldn’t hold on any longer and let go, the dam breaking and his come spilling out inside her, spasming out of control; his body on fire. “Yes!” He came like never before and it felt like it would last forever. He didn’t want it to be the end of forever.
They collapsed on the pillows, exhausted, but happy. They laughed and held each other tight.
“Can you say OH MY GOD?!” Olivia giggled.
“Yeah, I KNOW! I think that was the best it’s ever been except for maybe the first time.” He smiled back at her. Kevin looked at Olivia with the look of a man in love as he smoothed her hair back.
“I do love you, you know that, right?”
Olivia nodded and she kissed him. “Baby, I never stopped loving you.”
Kevin’s smiled widened and he hugged her, so happy to hear that.
They laid there for a few seconds and then Kevin said, “Baby, I’m sorry about earlier. I was just so shocked about the pregnancy— I didn’t know how to react. I screwed up. Can you forgive me?”
Olivia giggled. “Yeah, I think I just did!” And Kevin laughed.
“But seriously, I do forgive you. I know you were just adjusting to the idea of being a father. I know it was unexpected and totally life changing. I’ve had a month to adjust and you just had a day, so, I do understand. I was a little upset about it, but I think it was mostly the hormones making me irrational.”
“Thanks for understanding." He said and Olivia was on Cloud 9.
“Okay, so who’s this guy that tried to kiss you tonight? Should I be worried?” Kevin asked.
Olivia shook her head. “No, you shouldn’t. I guess I never told you, but we met at LAX when I was flying back to Portland to give my notice. His name is Joshua. Well, his real name is Kevin, but I made him change it to Joshua.”
“What? Okay, so now you have to tell me the whole story. I’m curious.”
Olivia decided to be totally honest with Kevin. “You sure you want to hear this?” and Kevin nodded, bracing himself for the worst.
“Okay, it was right after you dropped me off at the airport and Nick showed up and I was confused and…”
“Wait a minute, Nick showed up?!”
“Kevin, he just happened to be there with Brian and he saw me, that was all. So, anyway, I told him I had to go, but I was pretty confused about… my feelings for him…” she looked at Kevin, but he seemed okay, so she continued, “ but not about my feelings for you, so that’s why I told him I had to go and that’s all that happened with us, but I wanted to forget about him so I went to one of the bars at the airport and I drank two Long Island Ice Teas within minutes of each other!”
“Oh my God, you lush!” Kevin smiled, totally fine with everything. He knew where her heart lay now so that was all that mattered.
“Ha ha. So, basically, Joshua was sitting next to me, watching me and I went to stand up and I almost fell down so he caught me and that was it. Then when I drove from Portland to Sacramento that Saturday after you know what happened…”
“You drove from Portland to Sacramento in one day in a U-Haul?! Oh my God, Olivia.”
“Yeah, well, I was determined to get on with my life, plus I had had a whole thermos full of coffee, so you know…” Kevin nodded. “So, I checked into a hotel in Sacramento and then went to The Old Spaghetti Factory where I ran into him again. It turns out he lives there. We just had dinner and that was it— nothing happened. We exchanged phone numbers to keep in touch as friends, nothing more. And then you and I got back together and he called me and I told him I had a boyfriend and that was that until I ran into him tonight in the Marriott elevator.”
“Okay, so, what? He tried to seduce you?” Kevin wanted to cut to the chase.
“No, I mean, I don’t know. I asked him to keep me company— again as friends,” she looked at Kevin to emphasize her point. “...and we just had something to drink in the restaurant bar and I told him I wanted to go back to the hotel to go to sleep, so he walked me back here and he pretty much let me know he wanted more, but I said I just wanted to be friends, but he decided to kiss me anyway, I guess… I didn’t kiss him, I didn’t want to; I hope you believe me.”
“I believe you. I pretty much saw and heard your whole conversation so I knew you just wanted to be friends and he wanted more. That’s why I wasn’t mad at you, but I was at him. What a jerk to try to kiss you after you said you wanted to be just friends. I was so pissed; I really wanted to hit him.”
“I could tell. You looked pissed! So, what stopped you?”
“You. I knew that you wouldn’t like it, so I refrained.”
“Actually, I think I would have been flattered. You know, two guys battling it out for me.” She giggled.
“Oh, God, now you tell me! I could have beat the crap out of him!”
“Yeah, right!”
“You don’t believe me?”
“Sure, I believe you!” Olivia laughed and he pushed her down and wrestled her, causing her to squeal with laughter.
“No, no, I really believe you!” She laughed hysterically.
Kevin kissed her and looked at her intently. “I am so in love with you. Believe me when I say I’ve never loved anyone more.”
“I do believe you, baby because I feel the same way.”
They slept for a little while and then made love again, sharing their passion and love for one another.
At 3am, they raided the hotel refrigerator and found some leftovers from the day before to munch on.
Afterwards, Olivia was sitting on one of the hotel chairs next to the bed, wrapped in a blanket, her legs folded underneath her and Kevin was lounging on the bed. They talked, laughed and stared at each other, still wrapped up in their euphoria. But Olivia suddenly looked serious.
“Hey, gorgeous, what’s on your mind?” He smiled at her.
“Kevin, you said you love me, but what does that mean for us?”
He got serious. “It means I want to be with you no matter what. It means that I want to raise this baby with you, whether it’s biologically mine or not.”
Olivia was so relieved. “Do you really mean that?”
“Yes. Olivia, I can’t wait to share my life with you… in fact, come here.” Kevin patted the bed and Olivia got up and joined him.
“Olivia Michele, will you marry me?”
Olivia had to sit up and focus on Kevin to make sure he was really proposing. “What did you say?”
Kevin laughed. “I asked you to marry me. Well?”
Suddenly the moment was upon Olivia and she didn’t know what to say. It was what she had dreamed he would ask, what she had hoped and prayed for, but…
“I can’t believe you just proposed to me! Yes, I will marry you!” she giggled. Kevin hugged her tight and as she threw her arms around him, her blanket slipped off.
“Oops!” she smiled.
“Yeah, a good oops…” Kevin said as his hands explored her body again and they satisfied their lusts for one another again.
It was 9:00 am until Kevin opened his eyes to look at the clock next to the bed.
“Oh, shit!” he sat up.
“What? What’s the matter?” Olivia asked, groggily.
“Olivia, we have to get up and get packed! Our flight is at 11:00!”
“Oh, shit!” Olivia jumped out of bed. Kevin laughed at her and then suddenly there was a knock at the door. Olivia jumped back into the bed.
“Oh, shit!”
Kevin laughed again, harder. “You are so funny!”
“Come in!” Kevin yelled.
“No, Kevin, don’t!” Olivia ducked under the covers.
Kevin kept laughing. At this point, he didn’t care who walked in on them. He was so past all the drama in their lives. What else could happen that hadn’t already?!
The door open and footsteps were heard, multiple footsteps. And then there was laughter.
All four of members of the Backstreet Boys—AJ, Howie, Brian and Nick were standing there, looking at Kevin sitting in bed coolly, pointing downward towards the lump under the covers. Suddenly Olivia heard laughter and curiosity got the better of her, so she peeked her head out of the covers.
“There she is!” Kevin teased her.
Olivia looked at the four guys and blushed bright red with embarrassment. How dare he subject her to more humiliation?! Then she thought, screw it, it’s not like they don’t all know about her and Kevin. She would feel more comfortable if Nick weren’t there, but she decided to play along, so she sat up and pulled the covers up to her neck.
“Hi guys!”
“Good morning,” Brian said, smiling.
“Hey, what’s up?” Kevin said.
“Uh, do you know what time it is, Kev?”
“Yeah,” he said sheepishly. “We just woke up. We were up most of the night.” He smiled.
“You dog, you.” AJ said with a twinkle in his eye.
Olivia stole at look at Nick and saw him staring at her; a look of sadness on his face. Suddenly, her heart went out to him. God, this was not the way she wanted to show him that she was back together with Kevin permanently.
“Well, if you all don’t mind, I’d like to get dressed now so we can get ready to go.” Olivia said.
“Okay, go for it. We're not stopping you.” Howie said and AJ and Brian laughed, as well as Kevin.
“Ha, ha. You can go now!” Olivia said.
“Okay, we’ll be downstairs at the restaurant. See you there.” AJ said and they all left the room.
“God, you are exasperating! How dare you embarrass me like that?!” Olivia tried to sound mad, but couldn’t quite pull it off.
Kevin just laughed at her and as she got up, he spanked her bare butt. “Nice ass!”
She threw an icy look over her shoulder, walked in the bathroom and shut the door.
When she came out a little while later, dressed and made up, Kevin was already dressed and about to close his suitcase when he spotted something.
“I forgot to show you these. Did you know you were famous?”
“Huh?”
“Here.” He handed her a copy of “Us Weekly” and “People” Magazine from July.
“Oh, my God, where did you get these?’
“My manager gave them to me. Look at the pages marked.”
Olivia turned to the pages and was shocked to see pictures of her, Nick and Kevin from that day on the Santa Monica Pier. There was one of them at Walgreen’s, too that she hadn’t even known someone had taken. She guessed it was from a camera phone.
“Oh my God, Kevin! No way!” she gasped.
He laughed. “Yeah, baby, you’re one of us now.”
The caption read, “New Backstreet Girl?” Olivia read on: “An attractive blonde-haired woman was spotted with Nick Carter and Kevin Richardson from the Backstreet Boys at a Walgreen’s on Santa Monica Blvd. on June 17, 2005 and the next day at the Pier in Santa Monica. Who is this mystery woman? Witnesses say she looked pretty chummy with both guys…”
Then Olivia turned the page and a large picture of her and Nick kissing jumped out at her. Oh my God! Wow, we look pretty hot, she thought and smiled, remember how exciting it was to get caught up in the moment. When she realized Kevin was looking at her, she immediately wiped the smile off her face.
“Fond memories?” he asked.
“Um, no.”
My God, I am famous, she thought. She actually didn’t like the idea. She really never had aspirations of fame— she liked her anonymity. Then she wondered why she never saw any press or paparazzi around. She chalked it up to them being good at hiding, but the truth was that Kevin had been pretty good about keeping her and their relationship out of the press as much as he could. He knew she wouldn’t like all the attention, not mention he wanted to keep things private as much as possible. He did know it was only a matter of time until the world found out about their engagement and the baby, so he would have to make an announcement soon. It would have to be brought attention to the guys first, though, of course. Kevin thought about Nick and his heart went out to him. He was not looking forward to Nick finding out about his engagement to Olivia and Kevin’s desire to raise the baby as his own whether it was Nick’s baby or not. How would he react? Kevin sighed. Just another complication in the life of this Backstreet Boy…
