I'm bored

So, I'm stuck home today since I'm broke.  My hubby has to work all day and night which sucks.  I've already watched some TV and the movie, "Bride Wars."  I thought it was pretty good.  Conflict like that tends to stress me out because I'm totally not that way but of course, it was a happy ending.  I like Anne Hathaway. 

So, I thought I'd get on Unfolding Souls and write a little and do a little editing of my stories.  I'm so tired of June Gloom! I don't even know if it's 70 today and it's so cloudy.  I'm tired of it - I want sunshine! I'm such a Cali girl as my friend Laura calls me, lol.  I was born and raised in La Verne, a town 40 miles east of LA and I love my sunshine.  I could never go back to living there since the smog is so bad but I would move back to San Diego where I lived for 5 years and got married, in a heartbeat.  If I were single again and my kids were grown, I would seriously consider moving back there.  Doug wouldn't want to so that's why I'd have to be single, lol.  But that's okay.  I like Oregon most of the time, it's just that the excessive rain and clouds get me down from time to time.  But when we start getting into July and August, we get lots of sunshine and it's awesome.

 

So, I guess that's it.  Hope you're all enjoying the stories, pics and videos.

Hey! Sorry you've got the June Gloom. I live in SC and it's getting HOT and STICKY from all the humidity. It's really getting bad and we're just getting started! Although, luckily, when it gets super hot, thunderstorms start rolling in and it cools down a little bit. I love thunderstorms!!

I also understand about the having to stay home because you're broke thing. I'm going through the same thing. Luckily, my boy toy has a great job and we can afford to go out once a week to a local bar for some karaoke!

I love singing karaoke! *sigh* maybe someday I'll do a duet with Nick. ha ha, jk!!

Hey, we finally got a sunny day today, whoo hoo! I'm so happy when it's sunny. Ha ha, the song "Sunshine Girl" by Britt Nicole just started playing on WMP! That's so me! Anyway, I really shouldn't complain about clouds because it's better than your humidity. I was in Florida two years ago in September and was dying with their humidity and it was only 80% so I don't think I could last there, lol. I love thunderstorms, too. We just had one a week ago. Oh, yay, I like karaoke, too. I love to watch and make fun (when warranted) but not participate. Aw, I'd love to go with you guys. Anyway, we got some money so I'm taking my kids to see "Up" this week.
